Tyson Burgess Cleburne, Texas 95.9 The Ranch
Me and Dad (Sonny)appear in the January 28, 2008 issue of Country Weekly magazine in a feature titled "Country Critters". Fellow Texan George Strait is on the cover. The feature was a timely boost for me as I am just now recovering from surgery on my leg 10 weeks ago and I am ready to chase squirrels in dad's yard again!

Hi Tyson, My mom, Nancy Lee, took all these shots of you while you were with your dad in a trailer park in Nashville. She told me all about you and I think you're cute! Maybe we could meet some time. xoxoxoLizzy (that's short for Elizabeth Swan)

Hi Tyson

Our Mommy met your Dad at the CMT studios during the CMA Music Festival. She was so excited to meet him and was even more excited to hear him sing the verse "the more I'm around some people the more I like my dog".
I hope Mommy gets our picture taken soon and sends it to you.
Tyson you have a great weekend. You are lucky like us and have a cool Dad.
Will E-Mail you again soon.

Hi there Tyson, my sister is on your site already (Chloe AKA The Princess) and I don't like being out done, so I thought I would post a pic as well!

Your dad works with my mom some so maybe we can meet, but just to give you a heads up my energy level may be a "BIT" lower than yours.

I came to live with my mom about 6 years ago, originally she was just a foster mom, but when it came time to give me up she couldn't bare losing me! She signed the adoption papers and the rest is history. My life is still pretty tough see....

My owner had to fight to keep me and my cat companion Priya. We moved to a condo in south Florida and the condo board did not want us there. Why? What problem could we be? We give our caretakers so much love. The more they are around people here, the more they love us.

Please go to www.petsincondos.org and sign the petition to allow pets in condos.

Dear Tyson,

We are the Kirsch family from Ohio. We are all big fans of your song. In October 05, Sugar was found dumped not too far from our home in the country. After wandering around for about a week waiting for her owners to come back, we took her in - not knowing she was pregnant. On November 14th, she gave birth to five puppies. That meant nine dogs over Christmas! We found homes for them all - including keeping her and her son, Bodie. We love dogs! They sleep in our beds and on the couches.

Keep up the good work and say hello to your person, Sonny. (We know you wrote the song, anyway.)

Happy Holidays!

Hey Tyson! We share the same name! I'm Tyson, the big guy (AmStaff)in the picture and the black spot there is my mommy's brother's black Pug named Zoey. She loves to chase me around and annoy me. I'm 7 years old and she's barely 1! We both love country music and have owners that love your daddy's country music. Zoey and I both love the Dog Song!! Keep up the good work and take care!

Hey Tyson, I'm a southern boy too. I was lucky enough to be rescued when Katrina left me homeless. Now I'm with Illinois Humane and looking for a permanent home with someone who likes part rotweillers.

Hi Tyson,
We wanted to tell you how much our Mommy loved your Daddy's song. She is always saying the same thing, in fact she has a magnet on the refrigerator with the same words. In February, our big brother, Mozart (he's the big black handsome one) lost his fght to cancer. He underwent six months of chemotherapy but God finally took him to the Rainbow. He was so smart, and strong, both physically and emotionally. On February 6th, 2006, as tears streamed down our Mommy's face, he rustled up some strength to pick up his beautiful face, licked all the tears of our Mommy's face and he gave her the strength and the OK to let him go. He was so wonderful and we miss him terribly.

Tell your Daddy, to continue to lend his voice to those who can't speak. We need more people out there letting the world know how wonderful we are. Give him a big, wet doggie kiss from us.

Warm regards,
Churchill, Max and Beautiful Angel Mozar

This is Chloe Lynn in her gllaery picture, no really it is a sample pic in a gallery, taken at Images by Lacey in Fort Worth! Needless to say the picture depicts not only her personality, but the way she is treated, royally, as well. I'm always happy to hear success stories like Tyson's.
Troy Washington, DC Laura Ingraham Talk
From Laura's website (http://www.lauraingraham.com/)
Troy Ingraham, who turned 13 last week, died peacefully, lying in the sunshine, as he was petted and hugged by Laura and friends. In recent weeks had suffered a rapid loss of the use of his back legs and bowels, although he still loved the hamburger and turkey Laura was preparing for him and to have his ears and belly scratched. As heart-wrenching as it is for all of us to say goodbye to our dogs or cats, Laura knew it was his time to go--with dignity and without suffering. He was Laura's best-friend since she first picked him up in May 1994--long before her television and radio career began, back when Laura was still a lawyer and running marathons. He never left her side during her cancer treatments last year, when she tore her knee skiing, and when she lost her mother to cancer in 1999. While others come and go in our lives, a dog's love remains constant. And yes, our pets' deaths are time markers in our own lives--as we see our own twilight approaching. Troy was a good boy. His job is done. Godspeed.

Troy Washington , DC Laura Ingraham Talk
Laura Ingraham missed two days of her nationally syndicated radio show this week to hunt for Troy , her 12-year-old yellow Labrador. Troy, a regular on the show, wandered away from Ingraham's new Northwest Washington home Monday afternoon and became the object of an exhaustive dog hunt, complete with on-air and online updates. The conservative commentator made a tearful call to her show yesterday morning asking for help, and assembled pals to paper the neighborhood with Troy's picture.

Happily, Lab and mistress were reunited after a dog walker saw the flier and saw the dog, with no tags or collar, meandering about a mile from home. "He came home and gobbled down food," Ingraham told us. "I was bawling." The walker got a very nice reward, Ingraham said; the radio host finally got some sleep and plans to be back on the air this morning.

Editor's note: Laura played Sonny's Dog Song in the back ground 9/7/06 2nd hour of her show as she talked about Troy's Lost and Found!
